F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre has a full calendar of events this April. Get tickets and spend the month watching a wide range of entertainment.

The fun begins April 6th at 2 p.m. with Hometowne USA’s Annual Show “And the Angels Sing.” Come hear The Montgomery County Chapter’s Hometowne USA Chorus, The Heart of Maryland Sweet Adelines Chorus, Acappella Fellas Barbershop Quartet, Kings Chorders Barbershop Quartet and Sassafras Barbershop Quartet perform. Tickets are $20 for adults, children under 10 are free.

Rockville Concert Band presents “Music for All Ages: Animation II” on April 13th at 3 p.m. Enjoy the music of animated films and cartoons. This is a fun way to expose kids to great music they will recognize while getting to enjoy it yourself! Concert is free but a $5 donation is appreciated.

Home School Talents (HTS) Cultural Arts Program will have a number of shows in April. On Friday, April 11th at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 12th at 5 p.m. join HTS for Aesop’s Musical Foibles. Young Aesop is a slave in ancient Greece with too much imagination and creativity. This fable is full of fun. On Friday, April 11th at 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 12th at 7:30 p.m. HTS performs As You Like It. Follow two young women on a journey of exile where they meet an astonishing cast of characters who change their view of the world around them. On Friday, April 25th at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 26th at 5 p.m. see Fee,Fi, Fo, Fum about Jack and his legendary beanstock. HTS performs The Scarlet Pimpernel on Friday, April 25th at 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 26th at 7:30 p.m. This famous love story takes place during the French Revolution. In the end, both will risk their lives to save their love. All HTS Shows are $12 for students and seniors and $14 for adults.

Soul in Motion African Dancers and Drummers present “Soul in Motion 30 celebrating three decades of performing on Saturday, April 19th at 8 p.m. The richness of the African-American culture will be on display with many high-energy guest performances. Enjoy the energetic choreography and acrobatic artistry of this event. Tickets for adults are $10, seniors $25 and youth $20.
